The Kane County Board approved a "NEW" structure fee for the Animal Control Services. They are as follows:
Pick up of stray $100.00
Board, euthanasia and cremation fee $200.00
Additional boarding charges per day $25.00
Additional transport fees $100.00

ACT would like to thank the Kane County Board for taking another look at the proposed fees and changing them. We feel the new fee structure is in line with other counties and fair to the people of Kane County.
I think the proposed fees are just fine.
what were the old proposed fees to be?

I'm sure the new jail must have someone who would put down these animals for free.
Seriously, there is a compromise between cruelty to animals and treating them like gods to be worhsipped. The quickest death is instant.
Pick em up. Do it quickly.
Don't have a policy that encourages pet owners to be negligent.
